  6. This program was written by myself during a time when I was debugging a
  7. Windows display driver and its interactions with certain applications.
  8. I needed the capability of inquiring RGB values at any point on the Windows'
  9. screen.
  10.  
  11. This program is (C) Copyright 1991, by myself, Geoffrey Shapiro. It
  12. is formally introduced into the public domain in binary form and it may
  13. be freely distributed as such as long as this README file is also distributed
  14. so that the original authors and myself get the credit.

  16. ShowRGB requires Microsoft Windows Version 3.00 or greater (it has been tested
  17. on Windows 3.1 beta releases too). 
  18.  
  19. Operation of the program is fairly self-explanatory once you have read the
  20. on-line help available in the About box. There is no menu bar for ShowRGB
  21. as it runs only as a minimized application. There is only a system menu
  22. and all program commands may be reached through the system menu.
  23. When iconized, Fireworks displays the explosions in the icon window.
